How to Get There
By Car
- From Bergamo:
Take the SS470 Val Brembana road towards Villa d’Almè.
In Villa d’Almè, follow the signs for Val Imagna / Roncola San Bernardo and continue along the provincial road to the village.
Travel time: approximately 35–40 minutes. - From Milan:
Take the A4 Milan–Venice motorway, exit at Dalmine.
Then follow the signs for Val Brembana / Villa d’Almè, and subsequently Val Imagna / Roncola San Bernardo.
Travel time: approximately 1 hour.
By bus
From Bergamo Bus Station, take a bus heading to Valle Imagna (lines operated by ATB/Arriva).
Get off at the Roncola San Bernardo stop or at a nearby stop close to the village center.
The journey takes approximately 1 hour.
By train
Reach Bergamo railway station (well connected with Milan and the main cities in Lombardy).
From the station, walk to Bergamo Bus Station, which is located just a short distance from the train station.
By plane
- Bergamo – Orio al Serio Airport (approx. 25 km)
This is the closest airport. From there, you can continue by rental car or taxi, following the signs to Bergamo and then to Valle Imagna and Roncola San Bernardo. Travel time is approximately 40–45 minutes. - Milan Linate Airport (approx. 65 km)
From the airport, you can reach Bergamo by car or public transport and then continue to Roncola San Bernardo. The journey takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes. - Milan Malpensa Airport (approx. 95 km)
This is the farthest airport but well connected. By car, the trip takes approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes.
For greater convenience, especially in the final stretch, renting a car is recommended, ideal for enjoying the scenery and moving freely during your stay.
